Terms & Conditions

Confirmation of Payments

Once you have chosen your desired wedding date, we can hold a provisional reservation for 4 weeks. To confirm your booking we require a £450.00 non-refundable deposit. Cheques should be made payable to ‘The Lord Hill Hotel’ or alternatively please speak to the Wedding Co-ordinator regarding credit card or cash payment.

Six months prior to your Wedding Day, a further £450.00 is required. Please note that this is the second instalment and also non-refundable.

Please contact the Wedding Co-ordinator 6-8 weeks prior to your function to discuss menus. Final numbers are required a fortnight in advance. The figure given at this stage will be charged for. No refunds will be given for reducing numbers after two weeks prior.

Gratuities are entirely at the discretion of the client.

Cancellations

In the unlikely event of cancellation the following charges will be incurred:
From 1 to 7 days notice        100%
From 8 to 30 days notice        75%
From 30 to 60 days notice        50%
From 61 to 90 days notice        25%
All of the above cancellation charges will be based on your final estimated bill.


Damage to Hotel Property

The hirer shall pay for any loss or damage to any part of the Hotel premises, or to any fixtures or fitting which are caused by the hirer or their guests

Bridal Suite’s

A complimentary Bridal Suite is offered for those couples who have a day and night function at the hotel. If you would like to upgrade to the luxurious Abbey Suite, a charge of £60.00 would be applicable

Guest Accommodation

For your guests a preferential rate applies:
Single Room        £60.00
Double/ Twin Room    £70.00
Rates are per room, per night inclusive of Full English Breakfast, service & VAT. Guest confirmation of bookings is required by a credit or debit card number. No payment will be debited at this stage.
On arrival to the hotel, a standard pre-authorisation check on a payment card will be necessary to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. No payment is debited from the card during this pre-authorisation check. Cards will only be charged on departure.
If extra beds or cots are required £10.00 per bed, per night will be charged.
Additional breakfasts will be charged at £9.00 for a full English breakfast or £5.00 for Continental.
Our cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to arrival. Check-In time is from 3.00pm.
Please contact us for any special requirements. Check-Out is by 11.00am on the morning of departure.
Accommodation is subject to availability.
